University of Ulster Campus Venues

Belfast Map and directions

The Belfast campus, part of the city’s up and coming Cathedral Quarter, is traditionally considered the home of the School of Art and Design, though other disciplines are increasingly being taught there.

The redeveloped campus is situated near the city centre and is close to plenty of shops, bars, cafes and clubs. The south of the city is the traditional student quarter with a good range of moderately priced restaurants, pubs, theatres and shops.

Coleraine Map and directions

The Coleraine campus located outside the town of Coleraine in the North West of Northern Ireland hosts many of the lectures and associated talks you can see feautured on this site.

In addition to this the campus also boasts a concert venue known as The Diamond. The Diamond with a capacity of approximately 1000 has seen performances from Brian Kennedy and frequent visitors the Ulster Orchestra.

Jordanstown Map and directions

The Jordanstown campus is located on the outskirts of the city of Belfast on the coast of Belfast Lough.  As with the other venues the Jordanstown campus itself also hosts its fair share of talks and lectures that are promoted within this site.

However in addition to these fine facilities the campus also boasts a competitive concert venue which has seen performances from the Ulster Orchestra and Barry Douglas in recent times.

Magee Map and directions

The Magee campus located in the city of Londonderry/Derry in the North West of the country is the primary venue for the performing arts. For example the annual Guitar Plus is hosted by the Magee campus.

The campus also boasts an excellent live performance venue, The Great Hall. Capable of accommodating approximately 150 people it is not the largest venue. However it has seen performances from artists such as Katona Twins and Liam O' Flynn who have enjoyed and utilised the facilities located on site including two dressing rooms, a stage and a grand piano.
