Based on Sam Burnside’s award-winning poem with music by Laurence Roman it will be performed by choirs from the universities of Ulster and Aberdeen, under the direction of Shaun Ryan. LiteratureCafé Scientifique - The Science of Lie Detection
[Seminar/Talk]
27th June 2013: 19:30 - 21:30 The Verbal Arts Centre , Café Bloom, Verbal Arts Centre, Derry. A presentation of research demonstrating that people become better lie detectors when they use interview techniques aimed at outsmarting liars: contradicting the approach which assumes that liars are more nervous than truth tellers.

Cafe Scientifique events are aimed at members of the public, no scientific knowledge is necessary and everyone is welcome to attend!
